Well, we're halfway through winter and it's been atrocious so far. Gales, wind, flooding, damage... but only two air frosts and not even a whiff of a flake of sleet, let alone snow. What a complete waste of 6 weeks of winter, the best 6 weeks at that. At least we coldies had Christmas to take our minds off the rubbish weather, until power cuts came along that is (or, in my case, gas cuts).
To top it off, the models have not only decided on the "average" option, but have then gone on to show mild weather (such as on Wednesday), whereas that wasn't even shown for a dozen runs in a row. It's bad enough that the cold chance has been missed, but for it to be even milder than any of the models suggested feels like a kick in the teeth. I've not seen a snowless winter this millennium but I wonder if this one will break that streak.
I'm surprised to see mildies such as the last couple of posters in here - feel free to start a gloating thread guys, this is the moaning thread, not the "ooh, isn't it fab" thread!
