2-3inches of snow has fell north of Birmingham with trees weighed down under the weight of wet snow.

Can't believe no one else from the area is reporting it?

Cannock is quite high about 500feet so that no doubt helped.

Snowing for most of the day where I work in Mansfield and when I finished work at 4pm my car was covered in snow.  It was snowing moderately when I set off on my 5 mile journey but was raining when I got home.  Temp here 2.2c

11.00 in Winchester no rain yet arrived.Likely to finish the day and the second month of the winter without sight of a single snow flake -leading to a severe bout of SWS (Snowfall Withdrawl Syndrome)

We have a covering of snow now for the first time this winter, not sure if I'll need to dust the cobwebs off the snow shovel just yet!

Looks like light snow/sleet might fall quite widely across Devon and the Welsh mountains early tomorrow morning for a short while. Won't amount to much though as the rain isn't far behind!

Heavy rain in Worcestershire now - started off a bit sleety, but now it is just the horrible, wet rain we have been having for too long now.

Temp: 4.4 degrees - nasty, cold and wet! Awful! What a goddam awful winter this has turned out to be!

24 hours ago, GFS via XCweather was swearing blind that Edinburgh was going to get 10cm of the white stuff dumped on it on Saturday morning

Now of course there's 1mm of drizzle predicted for the whole day 😛

Had a spell of moderate snow in penrith this afternoon that left a slushy covering.

Much deeper depths above 200metres and some cars entering town from outlying areas had about 3-4cms on the roof, it's all turned to rain now with temperature close to 4c but I suppose it has actually snowed IMBY in this dreadful winter of 13/14.

Looking even better now! Just hope the rain holds off and it doesn't get too mild. THat said, the hills are a good 150-300 ft above this:
