Back In The Autumn The Daily Express came out with a glaring heading that this winter will be the coldest in a 100 years with major snow falls and severe cold lasting for weeks. Even the more modest forcast such as net weather and The Weather Out Look all pointed to a colder and average winter.
Well We are now 2 months into this winter and I can tell you here and now that all these long range forcasts that had forcast cold have been 100% Wrong. The CET means for December is 6.3 C and January 5.7 which is well above average and now it looks like that this winter will be one of the warmest on record. With a CET mean between 5 and 6 Degrees Celsius likerly. Further more this winter there has not been a single snowfall or snow covering in London and the South East and there been an amazing lack of air frost as well so far with no widespread severe frosts below -2 C at all in London and the south east.
