So far today, it has been trying ever so hard to brighten up and there doesn't appear to be as much rain as I thought there is going to be. However, the rainbelt is expected to "double back" on itself later on today as the system heads south-eastwards towards the French coast.
As far as I'm concerned, for every hour that isn't raining today is a bonus. We have had enough of the watery stuff, thank you very much.
