Things didn't get really interested here until later in the momth - one of the best snow events I've witnessed here in many years, if only due to the drifting that occurred - knee-deep and above in places, which is exceptional for an urban and relatively sheltered location. An ice day too - in late March! We had one earlier in the month on the 12th.
Even on the 24th, when we had sunshine, the temperaturer remained below 2C all day with minimal thawing. It was also breezy, so all day we had snow on the ground drifting, blowing across the roads. I recall walking through the local park and cars were having to slow down due to 'ground blizzard' conditions . Snow was continuously being blown off the fields and ont othe road - half of the road ended up being covered in several inches of drifted snow, with a few cars getting stuck.
I was going to wait until the 23rd to post these images, but I can't wait that long - I'll post them now.
A bonus image - taken on the 5th of April, showing snow remnants - hard as rock.
