So farewell Frank. Your last game for England will hopefully? probably? be Tuesday afternoon against Costa Rica.

When I think of your international legacy I think of the implementation of goal line technology.

That is all.

So the important game coming up; Italy vs Uruguay. I want the Italians to go through, if only to see that petulant, nasty little cnut Suarez cry. That would make my day.

I think Brazil will win it at a canter. In fact I just cannot see anyone else winning it over there. As good a nailed on cert as you can get, in my opinion.

I'm starting to believe Germany could be the first European side to win a World Cup in South America.

The Germans are great going forward, but that said I'm not so sure about their defence either after watching their game against Ghana. Will be interesting to see how their game against the USA pans out with Klinsmann facing his own countrymen.

Im beginning to think the team that wins it will be the team that can score the most goals not who`s got the best defence.

France look the strongest going forward and my tip as eventual winners.

Good post Lumi. Just about how you watch the games in USA. Dont you have a geo-unblocker installed? I have one of these installed (at a very small monthly subscription) on my laptop and on my smart TV. This basically means that the computer / TV seem to be in the UK for all UK geoblocked content.

I can watch BBC and ITV live on my computer and TV and have full access to the BBC and ITV iplayer's and 4oD plus any others.

My TV veiwing access is pretty much exactly that of the UK.

You can get free packages like Expat Shield of Hola but I found them too unreliable. All the world cup games I have watched have been ITV and BBC.

The last group games have been very disappointing it has to be said with not much happening for long periods- in particular the first half of the games

Italy v Uruguay looks pants so far - you thing Uruguay would go for it more than has been the case so far

Italy sitting right back and will pass the through to full time

No clear cut chances - Uruguay look very poor - hopefully things will change soon

This referee is killing me (for anyone bothering to watch the Costa Rica v England game).  Terrible game to watch with all the stop-start happening.

Not very good or impressive from England so far

It's a large part of the story of Englands World Cup though, several gilt-edged chances missed which would have been the difference in the end scores. At this level you need strikers who put away their one chance to score; look at Klose of Germany as a prime example.

Wilshere so weak on the ball, goes down at the slightest touch. Shaw looking good at Left Back though

LOL, I'm astonished anyone is watching England. More interesting is whether the Italians can hold out for the draw and cause Suarez to cry.

Looks like Suarez tried to bite someone.

Very poor effort by Italy and deservedly will be returning at the same time as England. It only goes to further highlight how dire England have been at this World Cup. Both my teams are out so I'll be supporting Holland from now.

Just catching up with this and that bite incident is just astonishing. If ever there was a team that does not deserve to be in the second round it is Uruguay. Let's not forget Godin's cynical red card that never was against England, and add to that Suarez in this game biting another player Suarez sure does have form in biting, and cheating in World Cups (last WC against Ghana anyone?).

Some amazing football in this WC, and some awful refereeing.  Riveting stuff though!

Edit - I'm informed it is the THIRD time he has bitten someone   Throw the book and more at him. Sport has no place for thugs, esdpecially with previous.  It is evident he has a real problem and cannot be rehabilitated.
