I just think we are destined to have a brazil v argentina final and the bookies think likewise

Just look at the way the games have gone

As long as Argentina don't win then I'm happy. I've nothing against Brazil, but the media fawning makes me dislike them.

I'll stick with Germany as well.

Belgium looking the most likely to score right now.

As an aside, I have come to notice this World Cup how few goals have been scored with direct shots from free kicks.  I may have missed one somewhere, but I don't think any have?

No way the Yanks will score a second though.
At least it will be mild!

Insane extra-time!  USA could quite easily have pulled that back. I feel deflated and I'm not even American!  Another team who could show a thing or three to our pampered bunch of primadonnas in England on what it means to pull on your country's jersey.

Wha a magnificent game and fair play to the USA - they worked their socks off to a man.

Best game so far by a mile as Matty says.

For those Americans who believe 'soccer' is boring they need to be sectioned.

Excellent final 30 mins - one of the best games of the tournament.

Fair play to both teams there. That was one of the most exciting World Cup games I've ever seen. Seriously. And great scenes of sportsmanship after the game as well.

USA were fantastic. All teams I've seen have played with more passion than England and most with more skill. I think England got off lightly in the press because they'd been knocked out and were back home before the full extent of their demise was completely clear for everyone to see. No problems though because the international sideshow will be quickly forgotten as the more important business of the PL kicks off.

Players do seem to be coming through but will there be enough of them and will they be good enough to get us to another final I'm not sure.

Columbia will cause Brazil problems at the back

If Argentina and Brazil go out in the quarters I'll be happy. Germany will beat France.
