I still think Colombia can get something out of this, although if Brazil get a second it's probably game over.

Apart from Fernandinho clouting Rodriguez every time he gets near him I can't actually discern any tactics.

This Brazil team is nowhere near the same class as some of the great sides of yesteryear. I reckon that even their team of 2002 when they last won it, although not a great side itself, was better man-for-man than the current lot.

I fear this World Cup may be going down a similar road to that of 2006; the group stages were great, but the knockout rounds were fairly poor by comparison. Maybe we'll get two cracking semis and then a memorable final- I sure hope so.

Because of their negative tactics. I know they're ordinary by historical standards but their tactics tonight have been anti-football i.e. just kick lumps out of the opposition. Always helps when the ref allows it.

I know one thing: If it were possible to line-up the current Brazil team in a match against their 1982 counterparts, the latter would win handsomely every time. OK, they didn't win that World Cup, but in all likelihood they would have done had it not been for Rossi's famous hat-trick.
