6.2mm here, the peninne rain shadow has been in full effect here.

We're just to the west of the Pennines here, Mart. They're a very effective snow-shadow in the winter months if we've an unstable easterly set-up. We get dumped on big time tho' if we get an unstable NW'ly flow being channeled through the 'Cheshire Gap' and then being lifted is it meets the higher ground here and further east! 11.7mm overnight brings my total up to 18mm
