Like being in a Turkish bath.
Actually, you'd be surprised how things does dry up quite readily here at my coastal location, even though there is that vast expanse of water to my south, like there is that "airy" feel about things.
Yet, at my former hill based greenhouse workplace further inland I've noticed there was always that semi permanent dampness where algae and moss are thriving on everything, heck it would form on me if I stood still for long enough. The only time it does seem to properly dry up at that end is during high summer. It's little wonder why there had always been that constant battle with mildew, mould and botrytis on tomato plants.
