The CET should now rise steadily for the rest of the month. My latest estimate is that it will finish at 13.95C. So it is touch and go whether we will make it up to 14C.

Should the unlikely plume actually come off in the last week of June, the mean for June may hit as high as 14.5 ish, which will help out a number of folk.

Looks like the warm upper's don't really arrive until 30th and proper hot upper's are more for around 2nd July so don't think 14.5 is possible from here.

With all these hot charts being thrown out by the models, I wonder when GW will start the July CET thread?

Should be some VERY entertaining "punt's" this month!

Clearly we're going to have a very hot start but will is stay hot or will we get one of the all time greatest CET crashes in history?

I just mentioned on the model thread... with the heat arriving right at the start of the month and a potential reload in sight, there could be possibly be an insanely high CET by midmonth.

Despite the prospect of a very warm day for the final day of June we may still struggle to reach 14C this month. Currently I am predicting the CET to finish at 13.95C

First look at the July CET. An incredible start to the month is possible. Even if the temperature does return towards average during the second week of the month we may still have a CET above 20C by the 10th.

Well I calculate that the CET is only at 13.81C up to and including today.

Tomorrow the CET should rise by about 0.2C which would give a final figure of 14.01C. So we should just make 14C but no higher.

Same here! The mean temp for June will come in at around 15.5c here,its quite amazing the temperature difference a couple of hundred miles makes.
