some lightning kicking off down south towards Yeovil way, hopefully heading this way.
Mods....can we have 1 thread for tonights storms please? Reports being posted in Heat, storms...etc thread aswell. Was annoying 2 nights ago having 2 threads to watch!

Flashes incoming from the south... far more frequent than sferics imply - one every 5-10 seconds!

Kicking off to my S over straits of Dover. Fabulous fork lightning.
Some good CG's to my west earlier, but moved away north now. Great show nonetheless. Also heard thunder.
Edit - woah, the storm near Bournemouth is producing some insanely frequent lightning.

Indeed, it is all flashing away around me, mostly "out of reach", but lightning is lightning. No rain had fallen though.

storm right above now, heavy rain and frequent lightning.
Some thunder and lightning kicking off first out to the west and then most recently getting closer to Burnley. Bloodly well missed the last lot went to bed at nine thirty, out like a light never heard a thing. Stopping up for this.
