As a farmer I am wondering just what effect the cold area in the north atlantic will have on our growing season?


Is it just a transient feature perhaps part of the AMO  or is it something more permanent as the artic ice carries on melting.

Interesting article on Nature.com concerning possible climatic consequences if the AMO does go into a negative phase over the next number of years.
