He is going to have to spend BIG if 'pool are to challenge for the soon to be 3 CL places

Apart from the inevitable 'Chicken Licken' fans (the same ones who thought we could win the league after twatting Chavski & Citeh), pretty much all Liverpool fans I know just accept that Klopp is going to be experimenting with team selections & tactics this season whilst he and his backroom staff work out just what needs to be done, and how best to do it. It's inevitable we'll get results like yesterday.

The main thing is that we've got Klopp in charge, one of the best & most innovative managers in the world. I'm happy to write off this season if it means us building a team/squad capable of challenging over the next few years.

Thats good, I like Klopp and I think eventually we will turn the fortunes of Liverpool around

Your lot played better in the second half of that match but were still lucky to escape with a draw. The first half and the first ten minutes of the second Arsenal weren't at the races. They were pressed and kicked to death before then and should (but for our lack of clinical finishing) been two or three down. 

In other words Spuds gave in to the bedlam created in the stadium by the onslaught on the Spuds goal

Perhaps they're trying to get rid of him on the cheap - wound his pride (LVG has a huuuuge ego) enough and he could well walk. The danger in that approach is LVG then calling their bluff; can be very damaging to the club. Hopefully.

The problem for LVG is that there is no Champions league to fall back on. If the results remain poor then he will be gone perhaps before too long. If they want Maureen, they will have to snap him up before he goes elsewhere

As Saint has said, the Dippers need to give Flopp some time to get the necessary effort out of that shower of sh.ite.

Sorry to hear that. I remember he used to often appear on Football Italia on Channel 4 on Sundays back in the 90's as a pundit & co-commentator. Was always very knowledgeable about the game.

Interestingly of all the teams in the PL and Football Leagues Man U have the best win % on Boxing Day , will they continue that at Stoke ?
