Great pics Dave.
Living not far from there, I've become very accustomed to the Brock floods over the last 4 or 5 decades although some in the 90s were particularly impressive. The Lymington River and its tributaries around these parts are notorious for flash flooding and I have seen deep water turn to nothing on the roads and vice-versa in 24hours. Something about the soil and gravel and the bizarre tributary arrangement (stream bifurcation ratio and all that) and many of the streams in the Forest ( I recall this from my mapmaking days) are listed as 'ephemeral' and don't even feature on the map despite delivering a big input when it rains.
