Not quite full on snow but a heavy sleet shower just passed through here. A good sign this far south.
Currently living at roughly 65m asl North of Cowbridge in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Formerly of, Birdlip, highest village in the Cotswolds and snow heaven in winter; Hawkinge in Kent - roof of the South downs and Isles of Scilly, paradise in the UK.

Dusting of snow above 500m this morning. My guess would be that the snowline will lower by around 100m each day this week.

Yes, great snowy scenes on the Beeb from North Yorkshire but no posts to support it.

Probably archive pictures or just nothing special for those hardy northerners

Most of the southern Uplands are snow covered. The Pentland Hills viewed from my window have been white since Saturday. With a few frosty sunny days forecast, I'll be up there walking tomorrow and Friday

Wet snow here in South Edinburgh but the precipitation is passing through and heading further north than forecast. Looks like the snow will affect central Scotland rather than the Borders!

Snow falling at Anfield. If it can snow there, there is hope for us all.

Snowing lightly and beginning to lie. Already a decent cover in higher NW parts of the city.

Very nearly snowing outside. Still an element of sleetiness at the moment. Should be full snow above 250-300 metres now.

Some frozen slush on car windscreens here at 80m. Precipitation just not heavy enough last night. Another good covering over 200m though. That's the 6th consecutive day of snow cover.
