It appears to be associated with a developing low/shortwave trough over the North Sea and is expected to run slowly south-east wards to give East Kent some rain or snow later on tonight, along with the gale-force north west wind. I think it's going to be a bleak, windy and damp night over the Thanet area - or that could miss us completely and we remain high and dry as not all the models are showing the same thing - even only at 12 hours away!
