I feel there is potential for the next 3-4 days to be remarkably cold ones here in the SE with 2 possible ice days.
Today, it is currently cloudy bust still just 1C. Perhaps a max of 2-3 at best.
Tonight, skies are expected to be clear, allowing a sharp frost. Min -3 to -5?
Tomorrow should be an ice day in my rural location, despite the sunshine. The Met Office forecast: "Despite the sun, temperatures may stay below freezing in some rural areas."
On Wednesday some computer generated forecasts are indicating the risk of freezing fog and low cloud. To me, that could mean that temperatures could remain below freezing all day in places.
Thursday is also expected to be a cold one, although temperatures should climb above freezing, possibly for the first time since today.
So, certainly an interesting period, even if snow isn't on the cards!
