An online weather station in the middle of Dartmoor (normally reliable) has recorded 113mm of rain so far today. Dartmoor's rivers are certainly responding as if that kind of amount has fallen. We're on the east edge of the moor, we've had 48mm today - 50mm is a highly unusual amount here.
Had a large twig fallin in road outside bungalow but the 5 trees in vicinity are staying put. They make a racket with wind going through them. Even if it is only up to 38 km/h. Rain is lashing down at the moment.. 36.mm today....
