I think the spell of below average temperatures will continue for a while yet,but ive just a feeling at the end of April we will see the start of a significant and dramatic increase in temps.

Im going for a cold 7.6c

I agree. Ive been watching the pattern of 1974-75+76 and it does seem quite similar. We could see something special this summer. If the year has a 6 on the end of it that may help too

Signals place the UK close to the warm/cold boundary for a large portion of the month, resulting in no clear indications for the overall CET.

So I am forced to go with a near average value, in fact matching what the average was for 1989-2013;
