A good layer of snow in the heavy bursts near to Cannock/Penkridge around M6 J10-M6 J12. After that no trace and sunshine. Amazing as it was so bleak during the snowfall with poor visibility.

It's been snowing heavily since about 7am here and we have a nice couple of cm on all but the roads. Everything looks very pretty
Good call Quantum. Ironically it's our heaviest snowfall since November as we barely got a dusting all winter. I'm starting to realise what living at 1000ft entails - roll on next winter!

Some of the flakes here are at least 2 inches across.  Did try to settle a bit on the grass, but just not intense enough to overcome the wet ground

Woke up to find a covering of up to 1 inch of snow on cars at 8.30am.  Just a thin covering on grass and nothing on concrete.   Despite the limited surface covering of snow, that 1 inch of car-covered snow is the deepest snow I've seen since Feb 3rd, 2015.

Temp had fallen here close to 1C around dawn.
