As for Aberdeen this is a low lying coastal city where it has been snowing at sea level today.
Edit: For clarity Aviemore is at a lower altitude than your location.
Snow showers reported in Leeds. Radar has showers in northern parts turning quite wintry. Possibly wintry showers early tommorow morning even in the south.
Snowing this morning in Penrith at 2c, not settling but I suspect it will be on higher ground.Last time I saw snow on my birthday was 1981!Andy

Snow on the ground North Yorkshire Moors #NorthYorkshire #snow
Snow in Tring this morning (according to Bren) "slushy cover on car windows"I assume we just had rain here as that was all I heard and I didnt bother getting up a 6am to check!
The Met/o text forecast locally going to showers to turn wintry later this afternoon and overnight with hail, sleet and snow falling to lower levels with time.
Disappointing to see no snow or sleet of note in the blustery showers up at Grenoside today I mean, if it's going to be cold, it might as well snow, but it can't even do that. Booo
Heavy snow shower here now.
