Would that be 'Aviemore' the ski resort :-)

As for Aberdeen this is a low lying coastal city where it has been snowing at sea level today.

Edit: For clarity Aviemore is at a lower altitude than your location.

Had a surprise snow shower coming over the A628 Woodhead Pass an hour or so ago. Definitely flakes fluttering down and not soft hail.

Thing was the air temp was 7c. I'm guessing it's an airmass thing as I've seen snow at such temps a fair bit in Spring before.

I was asleep but looked back on my cctv and it recorded a picture of a thin layer of snow on car bonnet and roof at 5am by 6am it had gone. It was just too dark to see the intensity of it and guage actual depth.

Snowing this morning in Penrith at 2c, not settling but I suspect it will be on higher ground.

Strong sun with light snow showers! I've seen these feathery snowflakes before in April with temperatures around 6 C. I assume it's very low dew points in clear Arctic air.

We have had (and continue to have) soft hail and snow showers throughout the day. As expected it melts quickly in the late April sun. What happens overnight remains to be seen.

Disappointing to see no snow or sleet of note in the blustery showers up at Grenoside today  I mean, if it's going to be cold, it might as well snow, but it can't even do that. Booo

Snow stopped play at Durham's match vs Middlesex. Although they played through an earlier lighter snow shower. Proper North East cricket.

Landed at Glasgow airport in Paisley to experience the lightest of snow flurries. Lasted about 30 seconds but it was snow as many of the passengers on the flight commented. Strangely though it felt warmer than the wet Yorkshire I arrived from.
I think the colder air is filtering down from the north so others may experience their showers falling as snow soon.

There was blowing moderate to heavy snow for an hour or two in the early hours. I stayed up for it!... nothing now or on the floor.
