Looks like 29c is the max so far Leeming, Thomastown and Teeside. Perhaps tomorrow we can get to 30c.

29.4C, similar to Church Fenton's current value. Still going up a bit. A muggy night to come methinks.. followed by another very warm or even hot day.

Starting to feel clammy here and the wind has gone on vacation... true high summer coniditions and far overshadowed by tomorrow's potential - might I finally record 30°C+ for the first time since 2006...?

Exciting stuff

26.9C today, it was very good of those climate experts to warn of a decade of dismal summers, thus ensuring the exact opposite would commence almost immediately.
It has been the best hay-making season since probably 2005.

A high of 20C here today although dewpoints are noticably higher than yesterday. It's been a very pleasant spell these last few days, purely down to that NE'ly wind. When we lose it tomorrow it's likely to be a rather muggy 26C or so - and I fully expect to hit 30C indoors before the air-con goes on!

NB - the average here at this time of year is 21C.

Another cool evening with the temperature soon to fall sub 15c in hazy sunshine. We have lost the NE'ly feed and the wind fell virtually calm this afternoon and the sun came out, the temperature did not respond too well maxing at 19c here briefly.

Shockingly cool considering the warmth of the upper air and very high temperatures elsewhere.
