Clear and down to 4.5C at 6am.
Wind is much lighter, it topped 40mph yesterday which made it feel pretty chilly with a fair bit of cloud too.

Fine and sunny. However there is something of a fresh north west breeze making it feel quite chilly and airy at 8 C.

My concern is that as the wind is due to veer into as a north east in the next 24 hours, it may cause low cloud or/and sea mist to start rolling in from the North Sea later on and then end up getting stuck in the same kind of pattern as this time last year (north east or easterly winds lasting for days spoiling temperatures and sunshine, although I think the SSTs at the North Sea is higher than this time last year and there are no "cold spots" around the Strait Of Dover).
Still, it would still be better than getting blasted by severe gale force southerly winds. and I have to remind myself that it is still "only April".

Hi' Ian! I can't get this quote editing right! You're supposed to be in the box!

Feeling warm here now as the temperature has climbed to 14.8C and that breeze has dropped to light N to NW. Just 2/8 cu now so good sunny spells  The opposite over here as regards NE'ly winds - they should be drier and a little warmer as they come down from the nearby hills. Yeah, not a bad April day really! Glad to see the back of those southerly gales, tho' they were handy in producing some free firewood!

It's being an afternoon of partial cloud cover and sunny spells but there is a brisk breeze making the 13 C feel quite fresh. It's also very dry at 43% humidity thus making for an efficent line washing day.

I was trying to box clever and save folks RSI in their scrolling-finger

I usually don't post the humidity as my sensor reads on the high side - being situated in a shady but sheltered part of the garden that's in range of the base unit. I've put out a spare device I have, that reads temp. and humidity, in the windy passageway that's out of wireless range and that's reading 48%. No wonder the garden is drying out quickly! My wireless sensor is reading 62% atm!

Second sensor reads humidity 58% in the shade and a temperature of 12.6c. in the shade. Normal weather station reads 49% humidity with a temperature of 13.4c.  Handy  to have the extra sensor for in the shade...
