Cloud really built up to the N/NW earlier and there was some convection occuring out near the Dart Eustary probably between Dartmouth and Totnes. There were anvils forming but getting capped quickly and breaking apart. The cloud was dissapearing as it hit the waters of the Bay so its been sunny here all day.

It was a chilly start with temps dipping close to single figures overnight.

Today has been fine, but with plenty of cloud around.

Winds light.

Top temperature 21C

All in all a very average day.

Yet another day of suicide-inducing gloom, drizzle and permacast. Not so much as a glimpse of sun all stinking day. Cold as well. 11.1C. This is just vile

Orkney, Shetland and Faeroes all had cloud breaks today so is there anywhere on earth with a worse climate? Down to 6 hours sun in a week and the next week looks just as bad. Every bit as ridiculous as if the temperature were to hit 30C every day for a fortnight.

Just like 2007 and 2012, 2015 is looking odds on to have it's dullest week in summer. A sick, depressing joke

Having seen the sunshine in Manchester of all places for the 20/20 cricket the Leeds weather couldn't maintain its grim facade. Too late for any warmth of course, but at least it's sunny and cold.
