After a forecast last night of MBY staying dry we have had some fairly heavy rain

While it is quite cloudy overhead, it is trying to brighten up and I can see clear blue skies over the Channel as we appear to be right on the edge of this frontal system (as well as being the nearest to high pressure).

While it does feel quite muggy indoors, it is quite fresh and airy outside at 19 C under a moderate southerly breeze.

Quite sunny now! That's taken me by surprise as I expected today to be all overcast and damp all day. However, the weakening cold front is still on it's way so I should imagine cloud will increase later on today anyway.

Just goes to show cannot take them forecast apps from the meto/beeb for face value, had me down for cloud and 17*c at present however as soon as I walked into the garden I knew it was a lot warmer.
