Getting brighter as we move through the afternoon

Much stronger Rob , as I said earlier the forecast was for a decaying front and probably just thick clouds

Maximum for today  was   19.6c.  Now 18.4c.

could it be that it was stronger because the air ahead of it was warmer then forecasted?

We had a couple of hours of sunshine this morning ahead of the front and temperatures responded well -- 21C at 10:30am.

I very much doubt this was a local thing either.

Had a nice afternoon watching Bamburgh Castle Cricket Club playing an invited team on the green below the magnificent castle.

Warm and sunny after some rain last night followed by a cloudy morning. However cloud rolled in around 4pm followed by a heavy shower, so the cricket teams went in for tea.

Sunny intervals again now.

Current temp on the garden thermometer in Seahouses is 20C.

Hardly a spot of rain here, mainly sunny afternoon and touched 19.8C but quite windy with gusts around 30mph so felt rather nice.

Very Sunny late afternoon and evening temp got to 22c

Have Mon and Tue off so total chilling in the garden......................lovely
