All these sites have been / are being redeveloped just like Canary Wharf in the photo. Yes the developers make plenty of money when the market is right for letting these huge office and residential complexes but I think it s a good thing that the sites are being used and not just left to rot
The tallest UK residential building at the moment is also on the Thames at Vauxhall being St Georges Tower Wharf at about 600 feet and 50 floors. I photographed this edifice the other day on a river trip
