Overcast and 12 C, it was like that yesterday morning which quickly gave way to a beautiful afternoon, so hopefully it'll be a repeat performance today. 😁

Overcast but bright - as you'd expect this time of year with the sun so high in the sky!

13.7, dew 9.9, the high so far being 14.2. Last night's low was 10.6 and yesterday's high was 18.7 (around 2C above average).

Perfect weather for gardening, really!

There was a little bit of sunshine at times earlier on this morning here in Edinburgh, but still not a massive amount of that. I know from the moaning thread that Richard from Aberdeen has been in these parts today and as he has said on that other thread, it's still mostly overcast (hopefully he will take that cloud cover back home with him when he heads back up to Aberdeen, thus allowing us to finally enjoy some decent sunshine for a change.🤣🤣).

However, today is a bit warmer than of late with a temperature of around 17°C as we've now lost that wind from off the North Sea which we've been having to endure recently.

Today has just and no more, scraped our warmest day of this year so far with a temperature of 17.9°C at Edinburgh Gogarbank and the temperature still hasn't yet peaked for today.

That is despite there still being a lot of cloud around and only the odd sunny interval at times.

A much better day up here. The warmest so far this year. I've reached 19 C on my digital garden thermometers (well shaded)

Not much sun though, a lot of medium level cloud so bright rather than sunny. I really hope this warmer spell is accompanied by sunshine 😎

Not as warm as yesterday as it reached only 19C. Still pleasant enough, though quite cloudy.

However, even that very weak sunshine from earlier on has disappeared now, and it's even more overcast than what it was earlier on today.

here in Fulham hazy but sunny day but still supressed temperatures for this time of the year especially in the evening. we maxed out at 18 degrees with a brisk NE wind in London.I am beginning to wonder and yes its early days  if Summer 2024 may turn out with a continuation of lower than expected temperatures  but time will tell.

It did eventually brighten up with some hazy sunny spells by late afternoon but only managed a peak of 14.4 C at 2.30 pm. Currently clear with a fresh feeling 10.7 C & low 90% H in a light E breeze.

A cool start to the day today, with mostly clear skies and a low of 5.9 - the heating clicked on (set to 17), but I turned it off again sharpish, for today will be a very warm day (I expect it to break 25C indoors).

Currently it's 7.8, dew 6.9, following a high of 16.2 yesterday.

This morning's weather here in Edinburgh (where the Sun has just been constantly refusing to shine these days) appears to be as good as it ever gets these days.

There is a bit of sunshine at times, and even that is something which we've not seen for a long time at this time of the day but even with that, there's still a lot of cloud around as well which never seems to go away these days.

Meanwhile, the temperature is currently around 12°C here in Edinburgh.

A clear and sunny start, 15.6c and warming nicely for a repeat of yesterday, which stuck around 21c for a few hours and peaked at 21.8c.  That would do me nicely but I suspect it’ll get a bit warmer today.

Quite sunny but not overly warm at 13.1 C & mid 80% H currently. Have to be in a sheltered south-facing location to feel the Spring-like warmth from the sun.

Sunnier, near enough unbroken sunshine, than yesterday and a pleasant 18.1C outside the office.
