12 C at noon here, one of the coldest locations in the UK again 🙄
The drizzle has fizzled out but still gloomy with a NE wind

Another sunny, relatively warm and very humid day here - the storm system passed harmlessly to the south here earlier in the morning.
20.7, dew 17.5, the high so far being 20.8 - just a 3.6C diurnal range so far.
Looks like another warm night to come (MetO raw has 16 as a min, with 94% RH again), then a high of 23 tomorrow with lots more sun.

The showers have avoided the SE so another warm day . Kew is 24.4c so we might nudge 25c again.

My first full day back from 3 weeks in the golden sun, sandy beaches and turquoise sea. I've just been for my daily walk up Blackford Hill in North Sea Haar (100 metres visibility), steady moderate drizzle and 10 C wearing hat, gloves and waterproof! Heating on this morning 😲

Another sunny, relatively warm and humid day comes to an end here - despite the models showing a fair breeze, it's been barely noticeable this afternoon. It's still 26C upstairs even with the windows open all day!

Meanwhile here in Edinburgh, today's maximum temperature at Edinburgh Gogarbank so far is officially confirmed as just 13.4°C which actually makes today our coolest day of this autumn so far.

That is in complete contrast to the summer-like conditions of just a few days ago when it was almost a whole 10°C warmer than that here in Edinburgh.

In addition that, today is also the 4th completely sunless day of this autumn at Edinburgh Gogarbank where the temperature is currently 12.5°C.

Thick fog and 12C with light NE wind off sea.
This 'default' has been flirting with us since Thursday but has broken up or lifted for at least 2 or3 hours early afternoon - so far.

Another dull, damp and dreary start to another day here in Edinburgh as our latest permacast hell goes on into another day.

In addition to that, the temperature refused to drop last night and so the temperature here in Edinburgh remains firmly stuck at 12.5°C with virtually no diurnal temperature range whatsoever.😡
