Looking forward to Monday night, a confident Liverpool side against an excellent Spurs. Feel for Andy Carroll though as he has been much much better in the last two games, and now Suarez is back. As a pairing I just do not see them working. Will be interesting to see what KK does.

I'd like to see Carroll kept up front, with both Suarez and Bellamy supporting. Maybe this game's too soon - I expect Suarez to be on the bench.

Good game, good result, cretinous ref.

It makes it even more imperative we beat the Bindippers at Klanfield on Monday night.

Glad I'm not alone in thinking that that bloke should be playing for UTD. Oh, hang on, He already does

Commentary on ESPN Soccernet.

''Fantastic from United! A length of the pitch move, Rooney's shot is blocked but Giggs collects and crosses for Hernandez, who is free four yards out. A powerful header brings us level!"

He didn't totaly favour Man Utd, he failed to send off cahill, when welbeck was through on goal.

That should have been a red card.

The Bindippers are never going to get a better chance to win than tonight. Ridiculously weak Spurs bench, due to injuries.

IMO Skrtel should be off the pitch, not too sure what Dalglish was moaning at, still no one would have understood him anyway.

TBH, this game had 0-0 written all over it. Spurs lacking some attacking players and away at Anfield were always likely to dig in a bit, whilst Liverpool are just shite

The Sky stats make for interesting viewing. Liverpool are the worst team in the PL in terms of chance conversion rate.

Never happens at Liverpool, because it takes so long to get the ball toward the opposition's third that the defence has not only got itself organised, but the reinforcements from midfield are in place and marking all options.

The 'Liverpool way' of slow build up and retaining posession might have been revelatory in the late 70's and the 80's, and served them really well in terms of success (it wasn't that displaced from the Barca style - although with a lot less technical skill, obviously). But these days, it's just ineffective, unless the opposition comes out to attack you.
