It does seem, judging by what I've heard of the Chelsea v Wigan game, that the bigger clubs continually get these ludicrous calls.

Watching the plastic fans sat down like the good little tourists they are is vomit inducing. This is not football. It's a souless happy clappy persversion of the game.

Do you know what pisses me off more than anything? His punishment will be a spell in the Championship. Why is the punishment for shite officiating a chance to ruin our division? If they're not deemed good enough then they should not be good enough for any division.

We'll probably get him and the Chelsea one in the same game

Totally agree Matty. It doesn't matter if it's the PL or any other league; if referees & other officials cannot get even basic decisions right then they shouldn't be placed in charged of professional football matches in any division.

Balotelli should be off. What a disgusting individual he is.

David - stop reducing the size of your font. It's not big and it's not clever, ok? 😛 😉

Nick, agree. Looks like Man Utd are going to finish well clear when a couple of months back Citeh looked like running away with it. This is what SAF does best.

Title race over. Congrats to Man Utd again for a superb second half of the season. They deserve it for their consistency and temperament. Citeh have been poor all 2012.

Much though I hope the club and its Japanese fanbase would explode I have to take my hat off to Manchester United. They do it again and again. They get the decisions, they're graceless players and fans, but they do it, playing good football.

That said when it comes to graceless Manchester City take some beating. I feel sorry for their fans. Proper fans on the whole who have been betrayed by the lure of unlimited money.

The question is, given that Chelsea are awful, Liverpool are a laughing stock even amongst their own fans and Arsenal keep falling sort are we forever destined to see the same end result?

Being a mid table Championship team is bad. Being in the Premier League makes it seem positively enticing. A league where there is no competition and one, mind numbingly boring, outcome.

The sooner it all goes pop the better. But it won't. Too much corrupt money behind the scenes, too much TV cash. Too many vested interests.

Fans should keep tehir £50 in their pockets. They're being screwed.

And little doubt Mancini will be out of the door soon. A poor manager in charge of an excellent if underachieving side.

No doubt more money will be spunked on more players over the summer in order to find the 'winning' combination.

It beggars belief, it truly does. Had Mourinho been in charge of this lot, Shiteh probably would have been close to wrapping up the title by now.

Well that was a bit disappointing, looks like Arsenal have got 3rd now for keeps.

Spurs just don't seem to have it when it counts.

Balotelli is just completely clueless. The malt loaf I'm eating is more intelligent than him. He will never, ever be a world class footballer with that dead grey matter in his head holding him back. A shame really because it seems Mancini's loyalty towards Balotelli (and Tevez) will ultimately cost him his job

Little bit laughable with mancini now saying that baliotelli (mind you he said the same thing about tevez) won't play again for man city this season and probably getting sold in the summer

Expect Mancini's sucessor to go for Hazard, who would make a difference and someone like Cavani up front.

Another re-building process beckons.

As I said long before Shiteh imploded, Manchester United are a better side than people have given them credit for. Ferguson has done a good job managing the injuries they've had this season.

I wouldn't be surprised if United also go for Hazard, as will Spurs, Arsenal and probably Chelsea. Should prove interesting.

Another questionable decision at Old Trafford today, surely not??

That being said, gulp, you can say it - come on - yes, United ARE more worthy of the title this season than any of the 'pretenders!
