Downing. What a player.

P.S. If the Chavs are going to have to have a bad game I'd rather it be in Munich than Klanfield.

Absolutely nothing funny regarding our plight whatsoever, just because we are a small town club that punches above it's weight it doesn't mean other fans should take the pizz. If this had happened at any big city club, then the media would have been all over this. Venky's out, as for Kean, the backstabbing, ass licking, imbecile. Well he's earning  1.5 million, for taking the pizz.

Noticed all the Liverpool players staying on the pitch after the match with family members. I haven't spotted Carroll's caravan yet though.

Whether Chelsea were eying the Champions league final or not.

Losing badly beforehand doesn't strike me as a good way to proceed.

Blackburn is in no way a 'big' club, but it tries to compete in an area where there are many clubs, and it's so easy to lose fans to the so called glamour boys at Old Trafford, The Etihad and even Anfield.

If it's any consolation the Championship is more fun...honest

Well some potentially good news at last - Vertonghen now indicating he wants to come to Spurs. This would be a major transfer coup. Levy, get your damn cheque book out.

Hmmm, him and Kaboul at the back. Now that would be a tasty combination.

By the way Solar Cycles that is not directly aimed at your comments, as clearly Kean has suffered worse than that, but it's a fine line!

Slightly off topic, but I disagree with "most of us here are", I would say the majority don't go at all, just watch the odd game on the box and listen to the radio or watch the vidiprinter. There aren't actually that many real club supporters on this forum.

Not saying anyone should feel ashamed by it. The way things are, most people can't afford it nowadays anyway. I'm just highlighting the difference between watching a game in tv and actually being there and everything that goes with a day at the footy, is so vast it's incomprehensible unless you've been there and done it.

I've been to some cracking away days. Stockport was probably my favourite, bloody freezing it was!

Haven't been to a game in a long while, mostly because of university and relocating, but cost does come into it too.

I notice that Wolves appear to be on the point of announcing that:

Stale Solbakken former FC Copenhagen and Cologne coach is to be appointed as the new Wolves manager.

Apparently Terry Connor is going to be retained in some capacity.

Let's hope they can start fresh anew!

The reason I don't go as often is simply money, nothing else at all, just money. Could I really turn round to the kids and say "no holiday this year guys, no beach, no summer sun, daddy spent the money on the footy". I still have my season ticket and I still get up there as often as I can, but I seem to find so many other things to do with my weekend now that I never used to.
