Yeah right.... 3-3 and Everton were good for the draw. Man U will roo the missed chances and should have had the game sewn up at 1-3 very poor lapse by Man U

Performance of the day? A difficult one between Everton getting two goals in injury time to draw with United or Barca losing 2-0 at home to Hercules.

Actually, I'll go for Hercules. It could have been 3 or 4-0, although let us not forget that Trezeguet plays for them.

As for Spurs, Modric limped off and may have done the leg he broke last season. Unbelievable.

I would say performance of the day is Blackpools win at Newcastle.

TBH it's more newsworthy when he's fit to play. Surely Arsenal can't keep going with this liability much longer.

I reckon there would have been more than just Sir Furious' hairdryer out in force in the Man Utd dressing room after yesterday's game. IMO, the hairdryer would likely have been accompanied by baseball bats, a hammer and nails and broken pieces of crockery. Would have been something akin to a scene from Rab C Nesbitt.

That was terrible. Hodgson's certainly not hit the ground running. The players look as much of a clueless, disorganised rabble as they did last season.

There's only Arsenal making a fight of it against Chavski so far, with Man U, Citeh and Spurs all stuttering. Still early days, though.

Indeed. Yet despite yesterday's dismal draw against the Baggies, Van Der Vaart has already shown he is going to be a 'priceless' asset for Spurs this season. They'll also be buoyed by news that Modric hasn't broken his leg.

He has seasons of decay to remedy. If Torres isn't on form (which he isn't) then what do Liverpool have in the way of goal scorers?

Watching Liverpool yesterday I was actually surprised at the lack of idea's and just how poor the squad has become. Hodgson will need a season at least to make any sort of change to the mentality there

In your opinion, do you think it's simply a case of Torres not being up to scratch because he isn't yet fully fit? Or do you think he is beginning to tire of Woy and Liverpool already?

I think it's just a result of his injury. Hopefully it's just that lack of match sharpness, and he'll improve as he gets more gametime. Perhaps it's even a case of the succession of injuries that he's had playing on his mind, so he's subconsciously holding back. More worryingly would be if the injury is continuing to impact on his ability to perform. This may never come right and he'll have to adjust the whole way he plays.

With luck, he'll come right soon - cos we need him on form.
