Big question for the legal eagles out there - I'm assuming Hicks' injunction has effectively scuppered the Red Sox purchase until Oct 25 at least. Another big question - does RBS call in its loan in the meantime? Interesting times ahead.

The other question of course is whether a Texas District Court has jurisdiction in say Massachusetts.

Perhaps no jurisdiction, but RBS does business there, and we all know what that could mean...

So, basically, if Statler and Waldorf don't back down by 4PM Friday they face arrest should they set foot in the UK. I guess they won't be holidaying here in the near future should they attempt to take on the High Court.

Round and round we go. Hicks is now reported to be on the verge of handing over his shares to Mill Financial, who would then presumably pay off RBS and take us back to square one.

Arsenal 2nd , 5pts behind Chelsea. Wenger will be annoyed with the 3pts dropped at home to WBA as SAF will be for the 2pts dropped today

Good win for Spurs today, even if their winner was dodgy. Well worth the victory.

Aw, Sir Alex Ferguson bless. He's interested in bringing Modric and Huddlestone to Old Trafford and would use Carrick and Anderson in part exchange. I'm sure Redknapp and Levy will find it funny too.

I have been banging on about Modric since the end of last season... he was the one player i really liked and would add another dimension to Man U... History will tell us if Man U want the player(s) (not sure on huddlestone) that they will pay a hugely over inflated price to Spurs !!!

Oh, I've no doubt SAF is interested in Modric - that is well known and (maybe) Huddlestone. To be honest, Modric is not back to his best form yet and has been eclipsed, so far, by Van Der Fart. Huddlestone meanwhile is in the form of his life. He's that rare player who can play in the back four, as a holding midfielder or a creative midfielder.

The question is whether SAF has the sort of dosh Spurs would want. I doubt it, which would explain using Carrick and Anderson in part exchange. But that would be utterly pointless because neither player would get into the Spurs first team.

As Saint says, the story is probably a joke anyway. Caughtoffside is the web equivalent of Talk Scheisse.

That may all be true. Take the dosh by all means. But a part exchange deal that would weaken the team? I think not.
