Thank God. That will improve the odour in surrounding areas.

I have a colonoscopy appointment at hospital on Thursday. Had assumed it wasn’t going ahead. Phoned to check to be told that it is going ahead.

Very, very surprised.

However, my hubby had a colonoscopy before Christmas as a result of a bowel cancer test. He had some small polyps removed and a biopsy on a larger one that was left.  It was pre-cancerous but needed surgery and he was put on the emergency list.  He’s still waiting and we’re not expecting him to be called in now.

We’ve thought about going private but there’s the risk of lowering his immunity post op!  Dilemma!

I hope everything goes well with yours Justin!  Good luck!

Me too - but go with it. I’m sure the appropriate precautions will be observed.

Taking of colonoscopy - could be worth recommending this to many in this country at the moment to see if there’s a head stuck up there somewhere.

My mum (age 70) just shared a picture of her morning post. £100 off a Dignity funeral plan. At least some people are still advertising!

Fifth day in a row with no domestic infections in China, all their new cases are imported (mostly Chines students returning from abroad).

They also decided to restart public transport in Wuhan and to re-open several industries and residents will also be allowed to travel outside Hubei provided they have a doctor's confirmation.

Another country with hugely suspect official statistics is Egypt. If it is affecting people at this level, you can be certain that there is mass infection hidden below:

"A second senior military officer in Egypt has died of the new coronavirus, state television reported Monday, as the officially declared death toll stood at 14 from 327 cases recorded nationwide.

Major General Shafee Dawood, head of major infrastructure projects at the military engineering authority, became the latest high-ranking figure in Egypt to die from COVID-19 in hospital.

His death comes after Major General Khaled Shaltout, the army's chief of water management, died from the virus late Sunday."

New world order coming.

It's not me who allows people to misbehave, it's the government! Let's do one better: let's re-open all restaurants and pubs and just ask people to behave responsible, shall we?

It's you who is being "completely and utterly absurd."
