However, my hubby had a colonoscopy before Christmas as a result of a bowel cancer test. He had some small polyps removed and a biopsy on a larger one that was left.  It was pre-cancerous but needed surgery and he was put on the emergency list.  He’s still waiting and we’re not expecting him to be called in now.  

We’ve thought about going private but there’s the risk of lowering his immunity post op!  Dilemma!

Good luck with that Justin. As some have said, there are currently hospitals in some areas which are much quieter than normal, since they have suspended elective surgery in preparation for what might be about to come.

If their statistics are to be believed. There always has to be a health warning for anything coming out of China.

Another country with hugely suspect official statistics is Egypt. If it is affecting people at this level, you can be certain that there is mass infection hidden below:

Public Health Wales have announced 4 more patients have died from Coronavirus taking the total to 16. A slight fall in new deaths after announcing 7 on Sunday.

Correction: the official lockdown in Wuhan started on 23 January, so it's exactly 2 months. As mentioned many times China has been too slow and secretive early on, but they really tackled this later on.

The prime minister's spokesman has said to "expect a big communication drive in the coming days".

That has worked so well up to now.
