Some queries I cannot find the answer to and perhaps someone might be able to assist:
Car MOT due 9 April. I would have to drive 3/4 mile drop off and either walk back or get a lift from someone else I dont live with as we only have 1 car in the household. What to do?

Gas safety check on a rental house is due next week, what to do.  Can it be postponed, i percieve the risk as low.

Tenant is moving out of another rental house 31st March. They have all but moved out now anyway. They will need the deposit back in these difficult times but I would need to check the house first and secure it for piece of mind. What to do.

I think that's a balance you have to strike. The view seems to be that you can keep seeing each other but maybe limit the times and adopt social distancing. Common sense needs some application in all these cases and it can be quite easy to over-analyse all these new rules

Re landlord gas check I percieve risk as low but it is a legal requirement and might invalidate insurance if not done so a tricky one.

My instinct is to check the house but I don't want to be pulled up for making unnecessary journeys. Perhaps i could combine with a shopping trip to make me feel better!
