My review of this one was:
More interesting colours than May, but less structure and Sky coverage.
May had these star shaped features and curly ribons and it was so bright you could
easily see the colour. But the colour was very much entirely shades of pink.
This time around we mostly didn't have structure, except around midnight when we saw some ribons, but the colours were far more diverse than in May. I saw all manners of Pinks, Greens, Purples, Blues (at 5am this morning) and especially
Red. In fact I don't think I have ever seen such a ruddy red aurora before even in photographs. Dark crimson red dominating was the biggest surprise.
So all in all
Color diversity: 9/10 (no yellow)
Structure: 5/10 (ribons but no starts or intricate shapes)
Coverage: 5/10 (mostly but not entirely limited to the northern part of the sky)
Longevity: 7/10 (From dusk and basically ebbs and flows all night to dawn)
Brightness: 6/10 (Bright enough to see with the naked eye easily, sometimes bright enough to see colour with the naked eye, but never more than a backlight type brightness without a camera)
Weather: 9/10 (it was a bit chilly to be out but no cloud)
