Carroll for Bent, straight swap....?

Can't see it myself. Never thought I'd say it though but would bite Villa's arm off. Never been a Bent fan really but his average stands up well compared with Carrolls. Usual response to Bent is 'yeah, but he needs ten chances to hit the net', to be fair that would suit me! Liverpool for one posiitve spin have not been short of creating chances.

Anyone watch El ClassicoZzzzzZzzzzzz tonight? An exhibition in diving. When the English leagues reach this dire standard, you know football has been completely destroyed.

Bent not only is garbage, but he just wouldn't fit Liverpool's style of play.

Not that Carroll fits it either, mind

Just to add to the above, I'd rather have Torres back than that brick-footed buffoon Bent.

So how do we feel about Man City versus Spurs on sunday

I reckon it might be a more even affair simply because Spurs have a more settled team that now won a few games.

However I'm not sure I want to predict the score

I'm sorry, but I couldn't stop myself laughing when I read this. Were Unaaaated's medical staff on holiday when DeGea had his physical.

However in this spell there are definitely cracks appearing, odd decisions/line ups and a refusal to admit being wrong about certain signings. However I fully expect us to go out and beat both City and Utd this week. Typical Liverpool, no consistency.

FWIW, I'm not one for deliberately advocating a player to be injured. Indeed, in Frimpong's case he's an asset on the pitch for the opposition, as was evident in the Wolves game last week when he was taken off before he was sent off. The boy was out of control.

As for today's games, I though Bolton were excellent this evening and Andy Johnston for Fulham was quite superb!!

2 Each at the Etihad. What a cracking second half so far! Looked about 10 minutes ago and it was only 1-0 to city!

Which city won 3-2 with a last second penalty after defoe missed a sitter to put spurs 3-2 into the lead. Could easily have been 3 each
