13c was the overnight low. Clear skies all morning have lifted the current temperature up to 21.5c by 10am. Thankfully got a quick 10k on the bike in before things started to warm up.

Phew, am sat in the garden and there is a notable heat-build up going on. At this rate, I'm thinking that we'll reach the 80 F mark here at our little coastal town by the afternoon. Even with or without the obligatory sea breeze by the looks of it.
Yet this time last week I was shivering and turning the electric heater on as mist and low cloud descended upon the town.

Something wrong with solent weather station lately, yesterday was way cooler then any of the local stations including another at solent
Today at 10am it was coldest place in southeast on metoffice hourly - some 3-4 degrees colder then any other place
It was also the only location with a west wind .... even st catherines point was warmer!!!

At 11:25 gosport has exceeded the 25C mark. Im in southsea stuck indoors but its hotting up outside 🙂

Went out for a walk this morning, tried to beat the heat by starting at 10am... but clearly I didn't as it was already 22.7°C and climbing fast with 24.4°C at 11am

It's now past 27°C and feeling properly hot what with the fairly high humidity levels. There is a decent breeze to help take the edge of things though. I see Hurn was at 26.8°C as of 12 noon, I wonder if that's risen much further since then... after all, the airflow today should prevent the sea breeze from migrating inland much.

My laptop is screaming at me in this room where it's also into the high 20's. Like some kind of high-tech hoover

With just the odd puff of fair weather cumulus in a slightly hazy yet blue sky, 27C and a light breeze from the North,

the only thing that could be improved on would be the colour of the sky. A deep azure blue would be nice. Not that I'm complaining

Over 28C in portsea/ southsea.

Took food probe out and took temp in the shade from works buildings overhang

I think 31C is at risk of 'officially' being reached today and somewhere on siuthcoast will be a strong contender

Cloud now dissipating... 24°C. Won't hit the heights of the south, but I don't care - sun, heat, beer, tennis. This is starting to make up for the crap we get for 9 months of the year (i.e., non-snow and heat months).

When I come on here and write about winter cold in Sydney I get a 'ppppppffttttt call that cold' response.

Well now it's my turn - pppppfffttttt call 25c - 32c hot  Thats a normal summers day here.  Needs to be over 35c before I get excited.

Enjoy it anyway
