Heat all the way from GFS
The weekend saw highs of 26.8c and 26c here with over 12 hours of sun each day however since the winds turned northerly its been cloudy and highs this week been 19, 20 and 18.6 with 18 being forecast as the high today. Can we have the warm weather the rest of the country seems to be enjoying, just the sun would be a start!!!!
This Saturday or Sunday would be the likely hottest day of the year.
This NE'ly wind has kept my evenings chilly while the north bakes. Daytime maxes have been OK generally between 22-25c.
9pm temperatures have not been conducive to chilling in the garden.
Fri 16.6c
Sat 18.3c
Sun 17.5c
Mon 15.5c
Tues 14.9c
This evening at 9pm 12.9c

Sunny and 19C in London - coolest it's been at lunchtime for many a day. Looks like the Highlands are the place to be though, with 24C currently at Aviemore, Tulloch Bridge and Altnaharra (and Glasgow).
Creeping up to 17.7 C here under slowly developing bright spells. Is it too soon to issue a heat warning for my area in my Cloud Master forecast feature?

I now regret having shaven off my long hair as at least it kept my head warm whenever the weather got cold. I have popped into town earlier on today and had to put a cap on to take the chill off my head! Also, at least the long hair prevented my scalp from getting burnt whenever the sun does actually stay out for long enough.Anyway, at least I am starting to see more in the way of sunny breaks as this stratsocumulus layer continue to thin and break up, but the fresh NE wind is keeping the temperatures pegged back at 17.0 C.
Baseball cap worn each time I go in the sun..Face gets tooo red and it is no good for my bald patch...
18.5C here now I'm not sure I can take much more of this heatnodofthehead!
I can see the headlines now:
"Toastie Thanet, turns hotter then the.....err.....ummm....Top of Himalayas"
