Beebb forecast I saw earlier had a swathe of rain moving eratically northwards on Monday

The Met Office's text forecast for London & the SE agrees:
A very hot and humid day with long sunny spells. It will start to feel very uncomfortable as temperatures soar during the afternoon, which may spark off the odd thunderstorm. Maximum Temperature 34 °C.
