In theory if there was wall to wall sunshine every day in July, and you took readings from the top of an exposed hill, then the total would be something like 15.5h x 31 days = 480.5h

Tomorrow is a real wild card because any delays in the cloud and thundery rain will allow temperatures to soar thanks to some very warm air feeding across much of England, most of all the SE.
