Pressure now falling rapidly at the K1 Buoy which is to the east of the low centre.
At 14z the pressure was 997.9mb with a fall of 4.3mb in the last 3 hours. Wind speed at the Buoy has eased off but that is the lull before the main event. The wind has backed from WSW to SSW.
A little further to the west a ship at 48.3N 17.1W reports pressure of 994.2mb and a fall of 4.5mb in 3 hours.
