Really surprised how strongly it has come back. Though the headline gusts are not quite as booming as earlier the sustained speed seems higher.

Squall line reformed south of Dartmoor just going through Torbay, huge wind speeds, Berry Head at Brixham reporting over 130kmph/80mph+, thats a lot more than forecast.

Peak gust here up another notch to 53.1mph, from 51.7mph earlier. Still maintaining constant around 40mph.

Extremely windy here in the last few mins and torrential rain.

Edit: looking at the radar there is what appears a defined squall line crossing this area. It's certainly extremely windy

Squall line growing in strength, Very windy here atm I fear the fence might come down when the squall reach's here.


Why only a yellow warning for winds? Much more windy here then the over hyped St judes storm when the amber warning coverd all of southen Engalnd Midlands ect.

Wasn't expecting this. That squall line has really pepped things up here and it's not really tracking east, just holding a line just west of here. Bins everywhere outside, trees bowing in the wind, torrential horizontal rain.
