Not surprised at all by defeat (I predicted a 2-1 to Uruguay in my World Cup predictions sheet). What is a bitter pill to swallow is that buck-toothed simpleton was the difference. Uruguay did not look capable of scoring from anyone else.

Hard to throw any blame at Hodgson, he kept faith in Rooney who got the monkey off his back. Sterling, though not in this game really, deserved his starting place on the Italy performance. No-one can blame him for his defence players shortcomings, and his philosophy to attack (limited it may be) is the right one. Fair to say, that's as good as we are, at the moment.
Get behind the lads for the last game, dead rubber that it could be, and hope the young ones put in a good performance for their further development. Peace.
