Ronaldo for me is a showman more than he is a naturally gifted player- that's always been my view of him. Messi is 100% naturally gifted and for me is the best player I've seen since a certain other Argentine that used to wear No.10.

From RAWK: He's become a danger to the team. For example, Gerrard never realized how close to danger he was:

Tuning into France v Ecuador, I wondered for a moment why there was a man from the canteen running around on the field - I've not seen that solution to a head bash before!

Messi having a great World Cup so far. It could be his tournament .

Sublime from Messi. Much as I despise the little toerag he is still the world's best footballer, despite what the diving cheating winker might think.

Poor finishing from Ena Sharples in the Ecuador-France game.

Interesting. Any Suarez ban could include domestic matches, according to the Beeb quoting someone from FIFA. That would not be good for the Dippers if it was the maximum two years.

Would love it to be accurate though. I'd like nothing more than to see his career in tatters

Naturally, my ears pricked up when I heard the bit about the two year ban including domestic matches.

Personally? I don't believe a word of it. We shall see.

EDIT: Just picked this up in The Grauniad. They reckon a 6-match ban, which is woefully lenient.

Anyway, the following caught my eye.

"After considering footage of the incident, including angles not shown on television, and other material including witness statements and the referee’s report, Sulser’s committee will decide on a sanction and whether it should apply to all matches or just international fixtures. Either way, Suárez’s World Cup appears to be over."

I wonder how many people he has bitten, off the pitch?.

But then again, how many players try to break each others legs?.

What's worse, a broken leg or a nip behind the ear?.

I'm not defending the Twat.btw.

He would make a great goalie though,I could just imagine him, arms folded in front of the goal telling the ref that although the ball is in the back of the net?.it is not a goal.

And then.

Two "days" extra time as a result.

Best case scenario (not that it will happen of course) is for the buck toothed little prick to be banned from all football for two years and the Dippers being forced to pay his wages while he plays FIFA Manager in his front room, rather than cancelling his contract and letting him walk away for zero value.

Hmmmm, on the other hand, hedge fund crook Henry shows a modicum of morality, cancels the buck toothed little prick's contract and takes an £80m+ hit. That's not a bad scenario either.
