Yes Duane defintely worthy of mention as focussed areas at risk from heavy thunderstorms. Friday risk I think S Wales into the Midlands and Saturday the far south as a convergence sets-up.

That is exactly my thinking too, and explains why Folkestone and other towns along the south Kent coast tend (and are likely) to miss out when it comes to thundery-type set ups such as the one we are going through.
Any storms that does come in from the French side does will still lose their punch the moment they cross over the Channel, which is happening right now - unless it's all high-based stuff which I think isn't the case at the moment.
