I believe it is to do with the mobile look on the forum, I also loose the info on the left using the mobile profile, but keep the mobile profile to use with both main machine and mobile.
Just done alittle experiment, and you need to put your location in your signature for it to be viewable in the mobile view.

Flash flooding, intense cloud bursts, thunder & lightning, gales and sudden gusts.... All in a mornings cycle to work!!!

Looking at the netweather radar it would appear that a cell with +100mm p/hr crossed over portsmouth during my cycle.

A few localised reports of flooding coming in from South Wales

Nothing much has happened here this morning, had 8mm of rain since midnight, a max wind gust of 14mph so nothing more than usual, less infact.

The centre of the low seems to be a little bit further south and east than the models are suggesting. This may explain why winds are quite light in many areas at present.

Based on the pressure readings at 1000BST (09z) the centre of the low was to the east of Liscombe and to the west of Yeovilton.

Both stations were reporting 991.8mb at 1000 with Liscombe having reported 991.4mb at 0900 and pressure still falling quickly at Yeovilton.

Currently the pressure reading here in Chineham has fallen to 991.9mb. The low is probably now starting to deepen again. The fax chart showed 991mb at 06z and it seemed to be unchanged at 09z.

Morning all. Bit of a non event here in Oxon really, bit of rain, hasn't really amounted to much. Maybe getting breezier though.

What we now have to take into account is how ex-Bertha does have her second wind (no pun intended) as she is being "pulled" in towards that Atlantic low pressure being anchored off to the north of Scotland.
